Terms and Conditions

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Design UPSPACES. These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of our interior design services. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Design UPSPACES offers interior design consultation, space planning, furniture selection, project management, and execution. The scope of services will be outlined in a separate service agreement signed between the client and Design UPSPACES.

ENGAGEMENT & CONTRACT

1. A formal agreement or work order must be signed before the commencement of services.
2. Any changes to the agreed scope, materials, or timeline must be documented and approved by both parties.

PAYMENTS & FEES

1. A non-refundable advance payment of [percentage]% is required before starting the project.
2. Payment schedules will be outlined in the contract.
3. Late payments will attract a penalty of [percentage]% per month.
4. All taxes and applicable government charges shall be borne by the client.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

1. If the client cancels the project before execution, only work not yet performed will be refunded, minus administrative charges.
2. If Design UPSPACES cancels the project, a full refund (excluding completed work) will be provided.
3. No refunds shall be granted for work already completed and approved.

MATERIALS & THIRD-PARTY VENDORS

1. Design UPSPACES shall not be liable for defects in materials supplied by third parties.
2. Delays from third-party suppliers will not be the liability of Design UPSPACES.
3. The client is responsible for verifying the quality and specifications of materials.

PROJECT TIMELINE

1. Estimated completion dates are provided based on reasonable project timelines.
2. Delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., force majeure, supplier delays, client modifications) are not the responsibility of Design UPSPACES.
3. Clients must respond to approvals and queries promptly to avoid project delays.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

1. All designs, drawings, and plans created by Design UPSPACES remain its intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or use any design work for commercial purposes without written consent.

LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

1. Design UPSPACES shall not be liable for damages caused by incorrect installation by third parties.
2. The client agrees to indemnify Design UPSPACES against any claims, losses, or damages arising from the client’s misuse of the designs.
3. Any damages or losses occurring due to client negligence will not be the responsibility of Design UPSPACES.

WARRANTY

1. Design UPSPACES provides a limited warranty of [timeframe] on workmanship defects.
2. Warranty does not cover damages due to normal wear and tear, misuse, or third-party modifications.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

1. Any disputes shall first be resolved through mutual negotiation.
